Alvarium's principal partnership for Art in the Park connected clients with up-and-coming artists, providing unique links across markets and unparalleled support of the arts. Once a year New Zealand’s Premier Venue - Eden Park was transformed from a rugby fortress into a uniquely created art show. It was an exceptional way for up-and-coming New Zealand artists to promote and sell their artwork to the public and it gives art-lovers the opportunity to see a huge range of curated artwork from all over New Zealand.

Founded by His Majesty, King Charles III, (when he was HRH The Prince of Wales) nearly 50-years-ago, The King’s Trust has supported more than one-million young people globally to develop confidence and skills to live, earn and help create a better and more sustainable world.
In New Zealand, the Trust focuses on supporting young entrepreneurs aged 18-30 through its Enterprise Programme. The programme builds entrepreneurial foundations, provides mentoring, networking, and financial support from He Kākano - a seed fund for youth-led businesses.
Hundreds of young kiwis have been supported in the past year and now have the skills and backing they need to make a living out of doing what they love, with the aim of creating a more equitable, sustainable and prosperous future. The Trust is the charity partner of Art in the Park providing the opportunity for selected young artists from the Enterprise Programme to showcase work at the event and connect with mentors, networks and financial support.
Andrew Williams, Alvarium Managing Director is the founding Trustee and Chairperson of The Trust in New Zealand. Alvarium provides support for the Trust, and its Enterprise Programme through mentoring, connections and networking opportunities, and hosting alumni events. The Trust’s team is a key part of the Alvarium whānau on the 37th floor.
